American Chopper Jr VS Sr Who do you side on?

For years I've been a fan of the show American Chopper and have been out of it for a while. I wasn't aware of the turmoil boiling between Paul Jr Vs Paul Sr, but I have to say, I think all of us have seen this coming for quite a long time now. If you couldn't see this I'd say you'd have had to be watching another show. I think that was part of the appeal to watching the show. Personally, I just liked the bikes. It never sat well with me to watch a father and son go at it every day.

I mean really, the son Paul has tons of talent which takes a certain kind of flair and work style.  Sr never likes it.  Wants him to come in and spend all the same exact hours as someone that is a normal (non family) employee.  Jr, who whas a 20 percent owner in OCC now just wants fair market value.  I've heard Sr say that the value is nothing and that Jr will buy out sr if that's the case.  We all know that the value has to be considerable with the number of older shops they have, the nice cars they drive and so on, but I'm thinking that SR is just being unreasonable.  He was always picking fights, always starting things with JR, and never letting any little thing go that most normal people would try to figure out some normal way to deal with untill it got to a boiling point.

Now, I need to watch a few more shows to see what info the producers let loose, but what does everyone else know about all this?  Is it really Sr that is being unreasonable?  or is it Jr as well?

American Chopper Jr VS Sr Who do you side on?

All the bikes I've ever seen that were made by Paul Sr look like normal bikes to me.  They don't do the paint work, they don't do the finish work on any of their bikes.  So if you talk about the specialty bikes, until the recent shows that I've seen it's all about Paul Jr.  Sr is a Lazy Complainer!  Never gonna be happy!  Likes to bully people!  Especially his son!  I think it only worked that way cause since he was an owner 20% if that's the case kept him standing up for himself since he did most of the creative work that made the place famous.  The other reason is the show.  It wouldn't be where it is now without the show or the turmoil.

I'm on Paul Jr's Side.

That's a good point about the paint and bikes that Sr did but Jr must have learned his skills from somewhere.  Did Sr teach him everything he knows?  or did Jr learn his trade over time and teach it to the other guys.  Still though, you can't say his 20% isn't worth squat!?  Did they ever voice on the show how much Jr was offered for his part?

Another point to mention is that Jr, wouldn't have had a place to work and to build his brand without Sr but how far would senior be without junior?  Or how far would junior be without sr?

Sr obviously started the business way back when...  But without the show, the drama, would they be where they are now without Jr?

Sr's antics with launching a Jr like dummy off a ramp really sent a bad message.  Paul Jr is the only one that is not punching below the belt as far as I can see.
